As a first-time homeowner, we had enquired with 8 different ID firms. We proceeded with Si Han from Starry Homestead. We are very grateful for the amazing experience we had! From the very beginning, Si Han took the time to listen to our needs and requirements. His ability to understand our vision for the space while offering thoughtful suggestions that we hadn’t even considered made a huge difference in the outcome.
Si Han is not only an exceptionally experienced designer, but also a genuinely friendly and patient person. His warm personality made every step of the renovation process a breeze, and we always felt comfortable sharing our thoughts with him. He even replied promptly during late at night and outside working hours.
We are really thankful to have Si Han to accompany us on shopping trips for lighting and fixtures. His expertise helped us make decisions that suited our overall design. Additionally, he sent us links to furniture that suited our style, saving us so much time and effort in the process.
Like any renovation, there were some minor issues along the way, but Si Han was quick to provide alternative solutions. It was clear that he was always thinking ahead. He also updates us regularly on the progress of the renovation. Given that we were planning our wedding at the same time, this was a huge relief — it allowed us to focus on wedding preparations without worrying about the house. In fact, we only needed to visit the site once during the entire 2-month renovation period!
Thanks to Si Han’s meticulous planning, everything was completed on schedule! Ultimately, Si Han has given us a cosy, functional, and beautiful home that we absolutely love. We couldn’t be happier with the final result. We highly recommend Si Han and Starry Homestead to anyone who wanna renovate their home!
Design
The design proposed by Si Han was really practical yet aesthetically pleasing at the same time. Glad how it turns out exactly like the 3D drawings.
Workmanship
The workmanship was relatively good, we did not spot defects during the handover session with Si Han.
Service
Si Han's is very patient and replies to our queries promptly. His promptness did not stop even after the handover. He still replies promptly whenever we have questions after moving in.
Value for Money
There was no hidden cost and everything was very transparent. Si Han will not hard-sell to get us to add on any additional carpentry or other items.
