I take it you intended to knock down all existing tiles, including toilets, to restore them to your liking.
No definite estimate exists as the renovation depends on the owner's requirement.
You can go for the most costly tiles (> $5 psf), do a lot of carpentry, and most likely your bill will be $70K, or you can choose to maintain it at the $30k mark for the most basic of materials and as little work as possible.
You have to remember that most items are not included in the renovation; eg: toilet bowls, sinks, taps, lamps, switches, mirror, rain shower. This might add up to around 10-20% of your total renovation budget, again depending on the quality you are looking for.
First up is the carpentry-most of the time, it's determined by the distance you're doing (e.g. $90 per feet run). I've seen some of my colleagues just spend $20 K on carpentry, so that's something you really need to look at and decide for yourself. Usually; carpentry costs come from-wardrobe, kitchen cabinet, shoe rack, bed frame, tv cabinet, showroom, etc.
first i think you need to decide on more of the details to have a good idea how much your reno will cost. A good idea will definitely be able to help!
