Hi this might sound stupid, but I would like to ask how much does it usually cost? Nothing too fancy, just typical design.

Our 4-room BTO costed around 50k. I would say it might be slightly more compared to some of my friends, but we really love the carpentry and workmanship which we got from it. Considering that its a house which we are going to stay for another 5 to 10 years (at least), we decided that its a good investment to make it as comfy and good quality to our affordable budget.
Also as mention by Oliverlittle above the projects section here does have an extensive collection of completed projects which helps a lot in our budgeting and design.
