**Without Prejudice**

We need to express our immense frustration with Livspace after their recommendation from SP Group’s myTengah roadshow.

We engaged Shaw Yap as our interior designer, but soon after collecting our keys, communication shifted to his assistant, Lisa Lim. She assured us that our home would be ready by late June, but when we finally moved in on July 5, we were greeted with a chaotic construction site instead of a completed home.

Here are the major issues we've faced:

1. **Feature Wall Disaster**: We clearly requested Lisa to replicate a feature wall from our previous home, which my husband painstakingly explained during a two-hour discussion. Yet, she completely misinterpreted our vision and installed the wall to accommodate our turntable vertically! When we pointed out this glaring error, she had the audacity to say fixing it would cost an additional 50%. We never even saw the final to scale technical drawing approved the final design! Till now we have not been informed when a correct feature wall will be ready.

2. **Kitchen Hardware Fail**: Lisa oversaw the purchase of our kitchen hardware but forgot to install the hot water pipe after the cabinets were put in. Now, the plumber has to drill through the cabinets to fix this mess. It's unacceptable that this remains unresolved.

3. **Bifolding Door Confusion**: Lisa insisted a bifolding door needed a floor track for safety, despite other contractors confirming it can be installed safely without one. Why should we pay for her misjudgment and lack of knowledge?

4. **Sharp-Cornered Furniture**: The built-in furniture like desk and settee she provided has sharp corners, and we were never told it was our responsibility to specify that we didn’t want them. This is a serious safety concern, especially with kids and old people around!

5. **Poor Bedroom Layout Advice**: Lisa suggested placing our bed facing the window to maximize space, only for us to later learn that this is considered bad feng shui. We feel misled and frustrated about the thoughtless recommendations.

Now, after countless attempts to reach Lisa for updates, she has gone completely silent, and Daniel, the senior manager, is in the same chat group was always slient. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I genuinely hope for a resolution soon.

I’m sharing this to raise awareness about our situation and to caution others in their choices.

Not surprising at all. The number of horrible reviews from them on here is through the roof.

P.S When I was doing renovation Livspace designers tried to use a cheap sales tactic. Prepared two quotations, one that was 130K, and another that was 70K.

First they show you the 130K one scaring you into thinking "oh shit my reno requirements cost so much!" Then they wipe out the second one and tell you "dont worry, me designer is experienced, can help you save a lot of costs with this proposal".

Meanwhile the reno requirements was only a basic kitchen, and surface works. 4-room flat btw, with NO WORKS done to the all 3 bedroom, not even a TV console for living room!

At your own risk guys!
